Neighborhood Boundaries.
Yale Ave. to Dartmouth Ave. and South Clarkson Street to South Downing Street. Forest Hill also includes East Bates Ave. to Dartmouth Ave. and South Downing Street to South Marion Street. It looks like a Tetris piece.

The history of Forest Hill.
The first recorded owner of the land under Forest Hill was the Kansas City Pacific Railway Company (1869) and passed through several owners until Mary E. McClair purchased a portion of the land in 1907 and recording it as a homestead in 1913.
